DeskProto V6.0 is free to download from:. It's an amazing and efficient tool which works with the ABA Robotics Library.
Version 6.0 has many new features like the ability to add your own materials, CNC settings, new quicksettings, better info on the tools, more weld settings, simple functions to add circles and rectangles.
Version 5.0 has 3 new features.
1) The ability to save and load all settings
2) The ability to add your own materials to your model
3) The ability to create your own variables and drag them into new places
The good thing about DeskProto is that it creates, saves, loads, and edits parts of the model from the type of material. For example, it creates 1 part of steel, 1 part of wood, and 1 part of concrete. Then it can be combined to one file.
